Spot Interview with Fakir Fashion Ltd.

Empowering Connections: Bringing Organizers and Job Seekers with Disabilities Together for a Brighter Future.

In alignment with the “Futuremakers Bangladesh – Promoting Youth Employability” project, and in response to the initiative by Fakir Fashion Ltd., the BBDN team organized a spot interview on July 30, 2023. The event, hosted by Fakir Fashion Ltd. in partnership with the Bangladesh Business and Disability Network (BBDN), took place at the Fakir Fashion premises. A total of 37 candidates with various disabilities participated in the interviews, and 35 were provisionally shortlisted for various positions such as Sewing Machine Operator, Finishing (installing tags, packing goods, QC checking), Office Registrar/ Computer Operator, and Floor Level Bookkeeper. The onboarding process for these shortlisted candidates at FFL is currently in progress. The targeted inclusive recruitment drive session was attended by Mr. Manjur Ali, GM of HR and Compliance; Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, AGM of HR; Mr. Nure Alam Murad, AGM of Compliance; and the HR representatives who conducted the interviews. Representatives from BBDN and the Futuremakers project team were also present.
