Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has partnered with the Bangladesh Business & Disability Network (BBDN) to advance workplace inclusion through digital empowerment. The objective of this project is to enhance the employability and economic participation of women with disabilities by providing them with the digital competencies needed to access jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities in the modern economy.

Key activities include specialized training on digital marketing, instructor sensitization sessions to ensure inclusive teaching practices, collaboration with organizations of persons with disabilities for participant selection, and provision of accessibility supports such as sign language interpretation and transportation allowances.

In September 2025, 15 women with disabilities graduated from the training. The program has built participants’ confidence, employability, and technical skills – empowering them to pursue careers, freelance opportunities, or self-employment in digital marketing.
