BBDN recently facilitated a comprehensive day-long orientation session on Disability Inclusion at the Save the Children in Bangladesh country office on January 25, 2026. This capacity-building initiative was designed to prepare staff members and partner organizations for the successful implementation of the Skills to Succeed – GG12 programme in Rangpur and Dhaka, which focuses on skills development and employment support for Youth with Disabilities.
Through an interactive hybrid format, our facilitators Arup Ratan Chowdhury (Program Manager) and Sharlin Akther (Assistant Program Manager) engaged 41 participants in meaningful discussions about disability issues, with particular emphasis on creating inclusive classroom environments. The session equipped partners with practical knowledge and tools to ensure that young people with disabilities have equal access to quality skills training and employment opportunities.
