M.M. Ispahani Limited and Bangladesh Business & Disability Network (BBDN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Dhaka on October 1, 2026, to implement the project “ARISE – Assistive Resource Integration for Skills and Employment.”
Under the partnership, M.M. Ispahani Limited will support the provision of appropriate assistive devices and employer readiness briefings for persons with disabilities, with BBDN serving as the implementing partner.
At the signing ceremony, Farhana Afreen, General Manager – HR & Admin, M.M. Ispahani Limited, said:
“At M.M. Ispahani Limited, we believe that creating an inclusive workplace means creating meaningful opportunities for everyone. Through our partnership with BBDN under the ARISE project, we are pleased to support access to appropriate assistive devices and strengthen workplace readiness for persons with disabilities. We hope this initiative will contribute to greater participation, independence, and sustainable employment opportunities, while encouraging a more inclusive workforce in Bangladesh.”
Aziza Ahmed, Director Operations, BBDN, said:
“For many persons with disabilities, the lack of access to appropriate assistive devices remains a significant barrier to participation and skills development. Through ARISE, we aim to address this gap by facilitating access to essential assistive devices and supporting individuals in progressing towards greater independence and employment.”
Through this partnership, BBDN and Ispahani Limited aim to advance inclusion, economic empowerment, and workplace integration for persons with disabilities.
