I2i Programme:
The Innovation to Inclusion (i2i) is a programme, funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and managed by a consortium led by pan disability charity Leonard Cheshire. It is designed to improve access to waged employment in the private sector for women and men with disabilities. The programme is being implemented in Kenya and Bangladesh (Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet).
The objectives of the programme are:
- Employment for 1000 women and men with disabilities.
- Work with private sector, government and empowerment / job market readiness of people with disabilities.
- Emphasis on harnessing technology driven solutions
