Bangladesh Business & Disability Network (BBDN), in collaboration with BRAC Bank PLC under the Aporajeyo Ami Initiative, organized the Certificate Giving Ceremony for Graphics Design Batch-02 on 12 April 2026 at Creative IT Institute. The training was conducted at Creative IT Institute with support from B-SCAN.
The event brought together representatives from partner organizations, including BBDN, B-SCAN, and Creative IT Institute, alongside trainers and 15 participants from the Graphics Design (PGD-2528) Batch-02. Key attendees included Aziza Ahmed (Director Operations, BBDN), Tareq Mahmud (Deputy Program Manager, BBDN), Upama Saha (Assistant Coordinator, B-SCAN), and representatives from Creative IT Institute, including CEO Monir Hossain and HR Head Kamrul Hasan.
The ceremony opened with remarks from Aziza Ahmed and Creative IT Institute representatives. They emphasized inclusive digital skills and equitable access to employment. Participants shared reflections on improved technical skills and confidence, followed by certificate distribution.
Participants highlighted that the training had a strong empowering effect which helped them recognize their equal place in society and boost their self-confidence. They noted significant gains in practical graphic design skills, which increased their readiness to take on independent projects and pursue work opportunities.
They benefited from a supportive, well-structured environment with hands-on mentorship, along with reasonable accommodations including sign language interpretation, access to assistive technologies, and travel allowances which maximized their participation.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from the organizers, reaffirming BBDN’s commitment, together with BRAC Bank PLC and partners, to advancing inclusive, demand-driven skills development initiatives that create sustainable employment pathways for persons with disabilities in Bangladesh.
