As part of promoting disability inclusion in banking sector Bangladesh Business and Disability Network and Mutual Trust Bank Foundation have organized a half day long “Disability Sensitization Training Session” on 1st February 2023 where Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank Limited Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Managing Director Mr. Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Gautam Pradhan Das, Mr. Md. Khalid Mahmud Khan, Mr. Rias Uddin Ahmed and many important persons were present.
The session was moderated by Aziza Ahmed, Head of Operations BBDN, Mr. Golam Kibria, Senior Program Manager BBDN and Sharlin Akthar, Program Officer BBDN. The session was also moderated by Salma Mahbub, General Secretary, Bangladesh Society for the Change and Advocacy Nexus (BSCAN).
Mutual Trust Bank Limited is one of the reputed banks in Bangladesh and they continue to contribute significantly to the banking sector of the country. Realizing the importance of inclusive banking and inclusive employment, they have been associated with BBDN as founder members since its inception. Recently they have organized this workshop with BBDN to further enlighten their workforce about inclusion.
Through this fruitful workshop, BBDN hopes that Mutual Trust Bank will start their journey as a Disability Friendly Bank and Inclusive Workplace.
