In collaboration with the Bangladesh Business and Disability Network (BBDN) and the BRAC PRIDE team, ACI Logistics Ltd. (SHWAPNO) hosted a special spot interview session, showcasing their unwavering commitment to providing equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.
During this groundbreaking event, 27 exceptionally talented individuals with various disabilities participated in interviews, with a significant number facing hearing and speech impairments. These candidates had undergone a comprehensive 3-month training program on retail sector sales from BRAC PRIDE project. We are proud to announce that 16 outstanding candidates have been shortlisted for various positions within SHWAPNO outlets across Dhaka City, including roles such as Checkout Assistant, Dream Attendant, and Front Store Crew.
Our sincere thanks go to esteemed representatives, Ms. Rumana Jahan, Mr. Md. Sajjad Hossain, and Mr. Md. Tahmid Shahriar Sizan from SHWAPNO, along with the dedicated team member, Ms. Taslima Akther from BRAC, for their inspiring speeches and steadfast commitment to this cause.
Special appreciation goes to Aziza Ahmed, Head of Operations at BBDN, for inaugurating the event and setting a powerful tone for inclusivity. We’re thrilled to announce that ACI Logistics Ltd. has already welcomed the first batch of 5 candidates on board in September, placing them in different outlets across Dhanmondi, Azimpur, Khilgaon Skyview, Tongi Retail, and Uttara.
