The Bangladesh Business and Disability Network (BBDN) in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Dhaka Bangladesh organized a two-day long certificate training on Return To Work on the 14-15 of September 2024 as part of ‘Development of the foundations for rehabilitative services for the export-oriented RMG sector of Bangladesh’-project. The purpose of the training was to develop factory/industry level expert human resource on the process of coordination and facilitation for successful reintegration into the work of the employees/workers after any injury or illness through arranging/mobilizing necessary medical and rehabilitation support. The session was led by Md Golam Kibria, RTW-Master trainer and Syed Moazzem Hussain, Senior Social Protection Advisor, Social Protection for the Workers in the Textile and Leather Sector with a team of experts from BBDN and GIZ, Bangladesh.
A total professional from HR and Compliance of 25 RMG factories participated in this interactive learning session and will be leading the RTW program within their organization. Participants were provided certificates after complementation the training.
The inauguration program of the training was attended by Syed Saad Hussain Gilani Chief Technical Advisor ILO, Aziza Ahmed, Head of Operations, BBDN with other GIZ and BBDN team members.
