Bangladesh Business & Disability Network (BBDN) and Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF) jointly
arranged a two days long training on “Return to Work (RTW)” on 14-15 December 2019.
The purpose of this training was to develop factory level experts on the return to work process who will coordinate and facilitate the successful reintegration to work of the employees/workers after any severe injury or illness workers through arranging necessary medical and rehabilitation support.
In the training 16 business representative attended from different factories mainly RMG and lather sectors (eg; IFS Texware PVT Ltd, Fakir Apparels Ltd, Fakir Fashion Ltd, ACS (Textiles) Bangladesh Ltd, Yunusco (Bd ) Limited, Next Accessories Limited, UHM Limited etc.) The second batch of training will be conducted as follows (mid-January 2020) where we are expecting 25 participants will attend.
The training program is funded by GIZ with close collaboration of DGUV under the EIPS project. Mr. Golam Kibria, Program Manager of BBDN and Mr. Nazrul Islam Chadwary, Deputy Secratery BEF facilitate the training as master trainer.
