Success Story of Pollob Saha

Born into a middle-class family in Sadar upazila of Sylhet, 27-year-old Pollob Saha faced a challenge that would define his life from the very beginning. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, he encountered not only the physical limitations imposed by his condition but also the pervasive social discrimination that often accompanies disabilities in society.

Despite the hurdles he faced, Pollob refused to let his circumstances define him. With unwavering determination and a resilient spirit, he embarked on a journey fueled by hope and perseverance. Yet, for Pollob, the dream of securing a job seemed like an elusive goal, a distant shore on an endless sea of challenges.

Everything changed on February 19th, 2024, when Pollob attended a job fair organized by the Bangladesh Business and Disability Network (BBDN). In a serendipitous twist of fate, Pollob’s dreams finally materialized as he secured a position as an “Inclusion Officer” at the Access Bangladesh Foundation.

According to Pollob Saha, “Receiving the appointment letter from Dr. Dipu Moni MP, the Honorable Minister of the Social Welfare Ministry of Bangladesh, was an unforgettable moment for me. This gesture not only validated my accomplishments but also symbolized a lifetime milestone for me.”

This achievement marked a significant milestone in his life by providing him with the opportunity to contribute financially to his family.
